In collaboration with Haunt Gallery (Lucien Durey and Curtis Grahauer) Opening Exhibition Reception was a one night only experiential event at the Bartlett in Vancouver.  

Employing the tropes of the art gallery, viewers were invited to observe their own physical interplay within the space and with each other. Using the gallery as a staging device, movement patterns and relational configurations were formed. Objects native to the gallery setting became props and set decoration, standing in for conventional artworks.

As active participants in this sculpture-driven choreography, viewers created a real-time composition blurring the lines between an exhibition opening, a social event and a performance.
