Dance Your CV workshop at Haunt Gallery June 19th & June 25th

HAUNT presents DANCE YOUR CV, a two-hour public workshop by Emmalena Fredriksson, offered on Sunday, June 19 and Saturday, June 25. Participants can register for one or both sessions, providing the gallery with their current curriculum vitae — the written overview of experiences and qualifications mandatory for most professional applications. Reclaiming this document as an artistic entity and source material for new work, Dance artist Emmalena Fredriksson will facilitate a series of compositional tools to approach your CV as a text-based score for dance and performance-based actions. Exploring notions of text in relation to embodied knowledge, the living archive, and artistic representation, this workshop provides new perspectives on resume choices, improving the skills necessary for performing your next application. No previous dance experience necessary.
